As many of you know, in August of 2005, my friend Joseph Farah of WorldNetDaily and I started the "American Patriots Scholarship Fund" to help Marine Corporal Carl Basham. We raised a total of $600.00 towards that goal.

Following nationwide public outcry, Austin Community College caved in and allowed Cpl. Basham in-state tuition, so he declined any assistance and asked that we give the money to worthwhile organizations.

Fisher House - Military Scholar's Program

and $200.00 to:
Western Journalism Center
