Obama: "Lipstick on a Pig" Should Just About Do It To End His Campaign.

"RENEWING THE AMERICAN DREAM"

Barack Obama says the John McCain-Sarah Palin policies don’t represent change, they’re “just calling the same thing something different.”

“You can put lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig,” Obama said during a town-hall style event here Tuesday night.

The comment harked back to Palin’s joke during the Republican National Convention when she said lipstick is the only difference between a pit bull and a hockey mom.

The McCain campaign has a press conference call in a few minutes to respond to Obama's statement. I'm guessing there's a pretty strong temptation to cry sexism. Hopefully everyone remembers that Palin's RNC speech was so effective not because she was outraged but because she delivered a devastating attack on Obama with a smile on her face and a stiletto in her hand.

Personally, I don't know who writes Hussein's speeches, but after "That's above my pay grade," I would have already had that advisor replaced. It would appear he's still somewhere on the Obama Team, advising him of cutsie one-liners (and continues to drive his numbers down, down, down into a total meltdown!)
