State Representative Jackie Walorski: Warrior for the Family
This just in from Micah Clark, Director, American Family Association:
Today, I would like to ask you to take a moment to encourage a real leader in the Indiana General Assembly. She is one who takes a lot a grief from the intolerant left and even from within her own party sometimes, for continuously standing up for what is
right, regardless of the cost.
State Representative Jackie Walorski is a legislator from Elkhart and St.
Joseph Counties who is a real bulldog for the family. (I say this as a
compliment to the attractive legislator. Winston Churchill once said that the
bulldog was his favorite animal because it was one of only a few creatures that
could bite down on something and continue to breath without letting go!)
Jackie was recently accused of an ethics violation for allegedly violating
campaign finance laws. The allegation comes from the chairman of the Indiana
Democratic Party. The issue all stems from Jackie's fight to uncover what is
going on inside Indiana abortion clinics that are run by Planned Parenthood, a
well-funded, liberal, political player in Hoosier politics. Two undercover
videos show abortion clinic workers in Bloomington and Indianapolis skirting
abortion and "sexual misconduct with a minor" statutes.
I am convinced that there is nothing to the charge since the guidelines for
fundraising are clear and Jackie's request for support falls within the
allowable timeline. It is an effort to discredit Jackie and to distract from
the real issue of taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood and their shoddy
adherence to abortion and rape laws.
I know Jackie well enough to say that she will not back away from her
principles, no matter how many liberals smear her. However, I would encourage
you to take a moment to send a short e-mail of encouragement to Representative
Walorski. She could use your prayers during this legislative session. You can
contact Rep. Walorski at this e-mail: h21@in.gov
